Adobe Connect Add-In Downloads but Fails to Launch

Currently, when eClassLive (Adobe Connect) sessions are launched from eClass or by clicking emailed urls, some users are prompted to download the Adobe Connect Add-In. This occurs differently depending on the user's browser, their operating system, and their role in the session.

For some users (especially those with newer versions of Mac OS), the Add-In downloads normally but the session still does not launch.

 

Resolution

To resolve this, we recommend users download the most an alternate version of the application directly from the links below (instead of triggering the automatic download when launching sessions.)
